Known Model-Specific Issues for Kyocera Samurai X30

We believe in full transparency. The Kyocera Samurai X30 model is known for the following common issues, which we disclose for your awareness:

• Autofocus Performance: The autofocus system on the Samurai X30 is prone to being very slow and noisy, especially in dim lighting conditions, and may 'hunt' for focus for extended periods. A common symptom is the shutter failing to fire if the camera cannot successfully register focus. While this specific unit's AF/Helicoid was tested and confirmed functional, users should be aware of these inherent model characteristics.
• LCD Date Clock Blinking: The camera's LCD display, specifically the date clock, may blink constantly due to a drained internal CR2025 button cell battery. This internal battery powers internal functions and was not designed for easy user replacement. We did not perform a specific test for this blinking date clock issue with a fresh main battery, so potential buyers should be aware this issue might be present.
